The Invisible Fortune

 Introduction

This is a newly created story by me at one night within an hour. It’s a story of a poor girl who father died accidentally. And she gets fortune by an unknown valuable stone, and it makes her life better.

I would like to remind my gratitude who give me courage for the success of life. I wish to say thank you for those who show me the path to go ahead. Finally, I appreciate whom helped me always for my education.

The Invisible Fortune 

Eliza was eight years old. Sun tanned skin, innocent eyed and kindhearted small girl. She had one brother and a sister. As her father had died, she got only mother’s love. Her father was a mason, and mother was a housewife.

Unfortunately, she lost her father by an accident of working. Since then, mother had to feed them. So, she worked as servant in the rich house in her village. So, Eliza had to stop schooling as she had to look after her siblings because of the mother was going for working and also lack of money too was caused for that.

Every day her mother went to work early in the morning and returned home at night. Eliza did all these household works like cooking, cleaning, washing and also looking after the siblings. When mother got up early morning she also did and helped mother because she loved her mother a lot. Though she was in her age of schooling, she was not sad as she knows the situation at home after the death of her father. But she was clever in. Learning.

One day, she went to Wash clothes to the river as usual. While she was in the river, she could see a bright thing shining under the water, but she didn’t care of it and continued her washing. Again, she saw it and she was afraid to touch it. After some time, she could see it has closed to her sight. She was able to recognize it as a stone. The poor Eliza got it to her hand because it was beautiful and attractive. Yet, she did not know that it was a valuable gem. They much she was smaller to understand something. 

She took it home to offer her brother for playing. Her brother and sister played with the stone happily. In the evening, while mother returning home in tired mood as usual. She saw the small two kids are playing with a different thing. Mother went to them and glanced it.

 She could be able to know that it was a high-quality blue gem and she was amazing. Mother asked Eliza about the gem enthusiastically.

“From where is the stone, Eliza? “Mother asked. “I picked it in the river while washing clothes”. The girl replied. “Did anyone see this in your hand my kid? “Mother asked in an afraid manner. “No mum, I am the only one who was t the river in hat the”. Again, she answered.

 “My dear, this is your fortune. The God has sent you this in the river to chase away suffering from you”. Mother said delightfully. But the little girl didn’t not understand what mother said. She questioned from mother about it as she could not understand. “What did you mean by that mum? “

“I meant you can start schooling. We can get lot of money by selling this stone to a rich person”. Mother replied. “Oh! Mother, that is the happiest news that I ever heard. Will I be able to go to school with my friends?” She asked regularly. “Yes, my dear, after your little siblings grow, they too can go”.

 “Then mum, won’t you go to work as the servant of the bungalow again? “Eliza asked by closing her mother. “No, my dear, I will be able to look after you without working but I will have to earn money from my own way to feed you”. Mother said.

The following day morning, Eliza and her mother went to a rich gem seller in the city with her sibling. And they could be able to get lot of money.
